Welcome to Amitra

Along the southeast border, The Golden Wilds stretch across the land between the northern plains and the southern ocean. A potpourri of flowers fills the canopy above. They’re just as brightly colored as the birds that flock among them. On the ground below are beds of soft moss but don’t be tempted to sleep there. The wilds are a dangerous place. Direwolves and Great Bears hunt these lands. Few dare to venture there and only the Wild Elves are brave enough to call it home.

Under the reign of the human emperor Nisos, Amitra is a sprawling land of fields to the north and rainforests to the southeast. Far south, past a spine of mountains and a slow climb up plateaus are the snowy tundras of Ta'nes.

To the far northeast rests the capital Whitglen with stark white stone towers and golden silk banners shimmering in the wind. Beneath its beauty, however, is a dark truth. Those born with magic are imprisoned. Elves are second-class citizens and the peace with the Arpaeians is a thin and brittle one.

Ta'nes lies in the southernmost part of the empire. Its high altitude, rolling hills, and mountains make the region inhospitable even to the most travel-worn expert.

The people of Ta'nes are loyal to the Grand Marshall more than their emperor. The constant fighting in the region and the harsh winters have hardened the Ta'nesian people. But it is said that once you have a Ta'nesian's affection, you have the warmth of their heart until death.
